People’s Defense Forces (HPG) has reported that aerial activities of Turkish aircraft over PKK-held Medya Defense Zones continue. Turkish jets shelled many locations in Xakurkê, Gere and Metina areas of Medya Defense Zones last night.

HPG also reported that a wildfire erupted as a result of the shelling on Gundê Yekmalê, Gundê Xırabê and Gundê Hese parts of Metina area.

HPG provided the following information regarding the bombardments carried out by Turkish jets on the following guerrilla held areas;

-Lelikan territory of Xakurkê area at 00:00 on September 11.

-Ergenê, Siyanê, Mam Hasan, Çırav, Gundê Sêdarê, Çemşerit, Cemrêbotki, Kani Kontra, Hill Sor, Church, Dola Çınarê, Kafya, Meyrokê ve Gundê Kaye areas of Garê at between 00.00 - 05.00 on September 11.

- Gundê Yekmalê, Gundê Xırabê and Gundê Hese parts of Metina area at between 00.00 - 03.30 on September 11.

- Çemço and Sida areas of Zap region at between 00.00 - 03.00 on September 11.

Regarding the ongoing reconnaissance flights of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles over guerrilla areas, HPG gave the following information:

-Over Zap region at between 09.00 - 19.00 on September 10.

-Over Gare area at between 19:30 on September 10 and 05:00 on September 11.

-Over Avashin area at between 05.00 - 12.00 on September 11.

-Over Geliyê Doskî area of Hakkari since September 7.

HPG said Turkish war planes carried out flights over the following areas:

-Over Qandil region at between 12.00 - 12.30 on September 10.

-Over Xakurkê area at between 12.00 - 14.00 on September 10.

-Over Avashin area at between 00.00 - 03.00 on September 11.

HPG lastly reported the ground bombardments launched from military posts at the border. Accordingly;

- Oremar military post in Yüksekova district of Hakkari shelled Martyr Gafur area at Avashin border at between 14.00 - 14.30 on September 10.

- Bezelê military post shelled Hill Sor at between 23.00 - 00.00 on September 10.
