The invading Turkish state has mobilized a number of fighter jets which launched a bombardment on civilian settlements in Qandil region of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in northern Iraq, southern Kurdistan.

The bombardment, carried out in coordination with reconnaissance aircraft, started at 09:15 local time and is reported to be ongoing.
