According to local sources, the invading Turkish army has launched a large scale operation around the village of Zorava located between Besta and Kato Jirka regions in the countryside of Şırnak province. Village guards (local groups armed by the state to fight against the Kurds) are also participating in the operation.

Reports are coming through of clashes in Besta region.

Local sources report that the Turkish army is conducting an operation with the participation of secret units in Bilika, Girê Çolya and Zerinki areas on Mount Cudi.
