According to local sources, ‘secret units’ under the Turkish army have started an operation in the surroundings of Xiraba Bava village in Mardin province.

Military activity in the region continues and the operation is expanded towards the Palete area.

The village of Xiraba Bava was attacked by the Turkish military forces and the villagers were tortured for days two years ago.
