The Turkish army is carrying out new air raids on the villages of Qandil, in South Kurdistan.

Warplanes have been hitting villages since 4pm on Wednesday afternoon.

No casualties have been reported so far, but fires have broken out expanding through fields. 

Reconnaissance planes continue to fly over the area.
