A Turkish soldier was killed after detonation of a roadside explosive in Bitlis.

According to Turkish reports, a roadside explosive was detonated as a group of Turkish soldiers left the Karınca Gendarmerie Outpost in Bitlis province. A specialist sergeant by the name of Sefa İzbudak died in the explosion.
No information was immediately available about the aftermath of other soldiers in the vehicle that was hit by explosive.
