In the operation launched in Munzur Valley after the aerial activity in Dersim last night, one minibus was raked through by soldiers and an unidentified man has lost his life. Eye witnesses say there was a civilian body next to the minibus that was ridden with hundreds of bullet holes, but they didn’t know if there were any other people in the minibus.
Around the same time, a man named Irfan Top was injured near his home in Venk village when a bullet hit his foot. The injured civilian was taken to Halvori Outpost with a private vehicle after getting permission from the Karşılar Outpost. Afterwards, the man was taken to the public hospital by ambulance. His procedures continue and the police are guarding him in the hospital.
Reports also say the valley was hit by frequent howitzer and mortar fire and the relatives of the minibus driver are on their way to meet with the prosecutor to take permission to go to the scene of the incident.
