According to information obtained from local sources, mortar fired by soldiers of the occupant Turkish army killed a Kurdish civilian living in Ravina village of Kanimasi subdistrict in Amadiya city of southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.
The civilian by the name of Macid Sileman Permos was on his way to Gamêrkê area of Kanimasi to take care of his bees when he was targeted by Turkish mortar at 16:00 Friday afternoon.
Hundreds of people rushed to the Gamêrkê area to retrieve the man’s body which they later took to Ravina village amid strong protests against the Turkish state and the increasingly ongoing attacks of its armed forces in South Kurdistan territory.
