69 years old Dilaver Aşçı living in Çolpenek village of Ardahan province was shot by Turkish soldiers at 07:00 Tuesday morning. The man lost his life after getting shot by gendarmes as he was heading to the upland 3 km away from his village for animal husbandry.

The man's body has not been handed over to his family yet and access to the scene is blocked by Turkish military forces.

Local people stated that the military blockade over the Çolpenek village and upland continues for a while now.
