Soldiers affiliated to the Turkish army have murdered an Arab woman from Rojava at the border last night.

Turkish soldiers rained bullets on 30-year-old Sara Xemîs as she tried to cross the border into North Kurdistan from El-Eradê village 20 km west of Dirbêsiyê city of Rojava. The woman's children were also near her when she was shot at the border.

While local residents took the woman to Dirbêsiyê Hospital, she succumbed to her wounds here.

Xemîs will be laid to rest in the town of Zergan today.
