The Turkish army has blocked all the ways leading to villages in Ömeryan and those located in between Nusaybin and Kızıltepe districts.

Tanks have been deployed on all the ways and villages have been blockaded early Saturday morning. Local sources report that the Turkish army is preparing for an operation in the region.

Soldiers are performing ID check and searching all the cars of the people at the entrance and exit points of villages. According to local people, dozens of soldiers conduct exploration and lie in ambush in the rural areas of Ömeryan region.

On the other hand, curfew has been declared in the villages of Çukuryurt, Yukarıaydınlı, Aşağıaydınlı and Çayırpınar.
