"Turkish troops in Southern Kurdistan pose a threat to the Kurds"

KJK’s Pîroz Nûda drew attention to the bases of the Turkish military in Southern Kurdistan and said: "The presence of Turkish soldiers in South Kurdistan poses a great threat to the Kurds."

Komalên Jinên Kurdistan (Kurdistan Women's Communities, KJK) Executive Council member Pîroz Nûda joined the program Çira Welat on Çira TV and made important assessments.

Nûda drew attention to the bases of the Turkish military in Southern Kurdistan and said: "The presence of Turkish soldiers in Southern Kurdistan poses a great threat to the Kurds."

Nûda stressed that: "We assume that the existence of Turkish soldiers in Southern Kurdistan has influenced some parties hugely, for which reason they are not willing to engage in national unity. The Turkish state is trying to invade some certain parts of Syria and Kurdistan as well. One example is Southern Kurdistan. The Turkish state is working towards invading the Kurdish regions completely. It attacks Western Kurdistan, Rojava, and it already flattened whole cities and towns in Northern Kurdistan. The Turkish state is making plans with the KDP to invade Kurdistan. Therefore the people of Southern Kurdistan need to rise up and frustrate these policies and invasion attempts."

Concerning the efforts of the Turkish intelligence service MİT against the PKK, Nûda stated: "There has been a wide range of efforts by the MIT against our movement before and these will continue. They wanted to conduct an operation but against their operation, our comrades carried out their own. This operation of our comrades filled our people with great morale."

Commenting on the Shengal Democratic Autonomy Project, Nûda said: "It is the first time in history that the Êzidî community is giving its own decisions. We consider this an important step. In our view, it will be of service to all the Kurds, when the Êzidî community is finally able to decide for itself. It is three years now that the Êzidî people are trying to establish their own institution and organization. And we believe that Shengal's autonomy will put a stop to the firmans (genocides) once and for all."

Nûda Pîroz spoke in terms of the national unity as follows: "Amid such a state of affairs and circumstances surrounding the regions the Kurds are living in, the Kurdish people have made enormous achievements by putting up a huge resistance. In order to defend this hard accomplishment of ours, we deem it necessary to have all Kurdish political and military sides come together and solve the problems they are dealing with."
