Police forces conducted house raids in Amed's central districts this morning. Democratic Society Congress (DTK) member Tülay Özdemir and DTK member and Kurdish Language Research and Development Initiative administrator İrfan Babaoğlu were detained in the operation.

During house raids by gendarme forces in Diyadin district of Ağrı, municipal employee Hasan Demir (65) and Adem Yalazi (23) were taken into custody.
