Two peshmerga fighters lost their lives as a result of an attack carried out by ISIS mercenaries in Kifri in the Germiyan region in South Kurdistan.
It was reported that the attack took place on Tuesday night in the village of Koleco, town of Kukis in Kifri.
Speaking to Rojnews, 5th Brigade commander Şarezur Aram Nuri said: "We have a military center in the village of Koleco. ISIS mercenaries first attacked the people with mortars, then opened fire with guns. Two peshmergas named Ismail and Surikew fell martyrs."
Two workers were injured in an explosion on a road in Kifri on 5 March.
On 1 February two brothers were kidnapped by ISIS mercenaries on the road between Zinane and Serqela districts of Kifri.
On 30 January ISIS mercenaries kidnapped 8 people in an area between Xaneqin and Kifri, and two of them were executed the next day.
