Two village guards killed in Amed
An IED explosion killed two village guards and critically wounded another this morning in Silvan, a district of Amed (Diyarbakir) province.
A roadside IED targeted a vehicle that carries village guards who are participating in the Turkish military’s operation against Kurdish guerrillas, near Dagcilar village in Silvan, on Sunday morning. Two village guards were killed in the attack.
The village guards were named as Ihsan Gur and Cevat Bilgic.
Another village guard was critically wounded and was transferred to a hospital in Amed.
