University students in Sulaymaniyah and Hewler who support the hunger strikes protesting the aggravated isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan called for support for the resistance.

Sulaymaniyah University student Hewar Mihemed: I support Leyla Guven, Nasir Yagiz and all hunger strikers protesting the isolation. Women, men, students and young people should participate more in the demonstrations to give support. We are proud of those who put their lives on the line against the isolation.

The isolation imposed upon Leader Apo should be ended at once and his family, his lawyers and a committee should be able to visit him. The isolation is completely unlawful. The Turkish state is imposing this isolation against the Kurdish people as well in the person of Leader Apo.

Hewler University student Munzur Hisen: The youth has always stood out in times of resistance in Kurdistan, leading the resistance and the revolution. We as the youth should now also fulfill our duty and support the hunger strike protests. We should turn the protests against the isolation in Bashur (South Kurdistan) into the benchmarks of resistance and victory. We should work harder so the protests achieve their goal.

Hewler University student Elime Reshid: The youth and everybody should support the hunger strikes against the isolation. We should visit and support the hunger strikers. We should participate more in the demonstrations.
