Police forces came to the municipality of Van's Saray district today noon and informed Co-mayor Abdülkadir Çalışkan that district governor İbrahim Bayır has been assigned trustee to take over the administration. The municipality remains under the siege of police forces.

With this most recent trustee assignment, 11 of the total 12 municipalities in Van and its districts have been usurped by the government.
