Villager shot and tortured by Turkish soldiers in Van countryside

Caner Ağurtan (28) was injured by the fire opened by Turkish soldiers while searching for his lost sheep in the Aşağı Gülderen (Nezrava Jorî) neighborhood in the Çaldıran district of Van.
Ağurtan said that after he was shot, the Turkish soldiers kicked him while he was in a wounded state.
It is reported that Ağurtan was sent to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Dursun Odabaş Medical Center after being examined in Çaldıran Hospital. He is reported to be in good condition.
Ağurtan spoke to the Mesopotamia Agency and said, "The soldiers fired at me near the border. The bullet hit my foot. When I was injured, I shouted, ‘Take me to the hospital’. They approached me and started kicking me. When I said 'Don't do it, I'm injured' they didn't listen to me.
