The Iranian regime has killed a kolber (person who carries weight on their back for a daily stipend) by the Northern Kurdistan-Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhilat) border, while wounding 3 others. Meanwhile 10 Kurds were detained.

Reports say that the Iranian regime forces opened fire on a group of kolbers who wanted to cross from Northern Kurdistan to the Xoy town in Rojhilat’s Urmia province, 1 kolber lost his life while 3 others were wounded.

According to the Eastern Kurdistan Human Rights Organization (HENGAW), a kolber named Emir Xalid lost his life and 3 unidentified kolbers were wounded when the Iranian regime forces opened fire.

Meanwhile the Iranian regime forces have detained 10 Kurds for “aiding Rojhilati organizations”.

6 of the detainees are: Selah Adîm, Dawid, Resul Nejad, Maruf Qenaet, Keywan and Omer Nasire. The detainees have been transferred to Urmiye Prison.
