HPG and YJA Star guerrillas continue their celebration, which began with Newroz and continues with 4 April, the birthday of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan. The guerrillas shared their views and opinions with ANF.

Lorîn Hesen: I congratulate all Kurds on the birth of Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan], because 4 April is so important to us, it is celebrated all around Kurdistan and the world. Because the fight of all peoples was inspired by Leader Apo. It became, above all, a reason for women's liberation. Women in Kurdistan's mountains celebrate 4 April with enthusiasm. Despite invasion attacks on Kurdistan's mountains, we guerrillas celebrate 4 April as our own birthday. Because with the birth of Leader Apo, we rediscovered our own existence. People who had been oppressed, particularly women, acknowledged themselves and became the will of the people.  I greet all nations and comrades on the birth of the Leader.

'WE ARE BEHIND THE PROMISE WE GAVE HIM'

Şervan Gerîla: I congratulate Rêber Apo on his birthday. We, the militants of Rêber Apo, stand by the promise we made to him and are confident in our ability to keep it. Because Rêber Apo kept his promise to the people of Kurdistan, it is our responsibility to protect him and bring him out of the Imrali prison.

The Kurdish people celebrate 4 April as their birthday. As Kurdistan Independence guerrillas, we see Rêber Apo's birth as our own, and we declare that this year will be Rêber Apo's year of physical freedom. On this basis, we celebrate 4 April as the day of the nations of the world.

'HE OFFERED US A NEW LIFE'

Avesta Cûdî Merîvan: I congratulate the martyrs of the revolution, the Kurdish people, and all women on the birthday of our leadership. I'm hoping that we'll be able to join him in celebrating Rêber Apo's birthday next year. The Kurdish people, the peoples of the world, especially women, have been offered a new life since the day Rêber Apo opened their eyes to the world.

We celebrate 4 April every year and we will continue to do so in the future. Even if the enemy conducts invasion attacks, they will not be able to stop us from celebrating. They won't be able to stop us from following the Leader, no matter how hard they try. Rêber Apo lives with us, and we live with him, with his soul, heart, ideas, and paradigm. I congratulate the revolution's martyrs, all comrades in the Kurdish people's war lines, and the birth of our Leader once more. Long Live rebirth!

With the birth of the Leader, the people of Kurdistan, oppressed peoples, and especially women seeking their identity, have embarked on a path of liberation.
