The whereabouts of 5 Kurdish activists arrested during demonstrations in Kirmanshan in solidarity with the resistance of Banê are unknown.

5 Kurdish citizens were taken into custody by Iranian regime forces in Kirmanshan province, Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhilat), during demonstrations in support of the protests in Banê city against the killing of Kolbers [Kurdish word for porter in border region].

The activists, that were detained during the protest demonstration in front of the Kirmanshan Governorate the night before, are Ferzad Sefere, Fûad Mizaferî, Erselam Ebasî, Sehriyar Tehmasebî, and another whose name is unknown.

As the whereabouts of the detained activists are unknown, human rights activists launched a campaign for their release. On the other hand, the state of emergency holds on in the province of Sine and its cities the same degree as it does in Kermanshan province and linked towns.

Protest demonstrations were held in Banê in first place and many other cities of Rojhilat (Eastern) Kurdistan, following the killing of kolbers Heyder Ferecî (21) and Qadir Behramî (41) by Iranian regime forces in Banê town of Sinê province on September 4.
