Recurring clashes broke out yesterday in Selahaddin’s Xurmatu district as Heşd El Şebi attacked again without a reason.

Stating that the recurring clashes broke out in Selahaddin’s Xurmatu district as Heşd El Şebi attacked again without a reason, PUK Xurmatu front military representative Abdullah Bor said the peshmerga was taking care to not start the clashes again, they would fight against Heşd El Şebi forces if they receive orders from above.

Bor also answered the Turkmen front’s statement that declares PKK as the responsible party for the clashes in Xurmatu and said, “These are definitely not true. We are here and we have not witnessed such a thing.”

Pointing out that the uneasy situation continued in the district, Bor said, “While we were waiting for the meeting among interested parties tomorrow in Kirkuk for the resolution of our problems, Heşd El Şebi forces started attacking again yesterday in the afternoon. We don’t know whether the meeting will take place today. The unrest in the district continues. Whereas we had upheld the declared ceasefire.
