HEWLER

HDP member Nasır Yağız has been on an indefinite and non-alternating hunger strike in Hewler (Erbil) for 128 days demanding the end of the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan. The health of the Kurdish activists continues worsening every passing day. He cannot stand up and remains in bed due to heavy pains.

On the other hand, the indefinite and alternating hunger strike at the HDP office in Hewler continues on day 128, taken over by the 64th group.

MAXMUR

In Maxmur, Fadile Tok, member of the Ishtar Council Coordination,a has reached day 68 of her indefinite hunger strike.

The solidarity hunger strike in Maxmur refugee camp also continues, on its 102nd day, with the 35th group.

SULAYMANIYAH

Today is the 104th day of the indefinite and alternating hunger strike launched at the Mesopotamian Workers' Association in Sulaymaniyah city.

The solidarity hunger strike has been taken over by 4 women from the cultural organization Niwêger as the 53rd group involved in the action.

On the other hand, Herêm Mehmud is on 33rd day of indefinite and non-alternating hunger strike, and Şeyma Ednan on the 26th day of her solidarity hunger strike.
