YBŞ Command announced that its member Raman Zeko died as a result of an accident on 7 April.
Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) Command announced that YBŞ fighter Raman Zeko fell a martyr as a result of an accident.
The statement said: “Comrade Raman Zeko joined the YBŞ from Hesawîk in 2017. Like our other components, he worked for the development of Arab and Yazidi unity and a peaceful environment in the region. From the day he joined until the day he fell a martyr, he successfully fulfilled whatever task and mission he was assigned, without hesitation. With this revolutionary stance, he set an example for his comrades. He was a humble and hardworking person. The martyrdom of comrade Raman has caused great sadness in YBŞ and our people.”
The statement added: “We express our condolences to the family of comrade Raman and reiterate our promise to our martyrs. We will walk to the end on the path comrade Raman Zeko showed us and in line with his cause, and we will continue our struggle until we create Arab and Yazidi unity. To this end, we will take over the flag of resistance and crown it with victory.”
