YBŞ General Command has issued a statement refuting the news published on KDP media claiming “Turkish jet fighters bombed YBŞ positions in Shengal” and said: “There have been no attacks on our positions”.
The Shengal Defense Units (YBŞ) General Command has issued a written statement on the news published on KDP media claiming “Turkish jet fighters bombed YBŞ positions in Shengal”.
The statement says:
“The news stories published on some publications claiming YBŞ positions were bombed by Turkish jet fighters on 07.07.2017 between 23:00-00.00 are far from being true. Our people should not heed such incorrect news.
The news stories published in certain biased publications saying ‘YBŞ territory has been bombed’ are not true. There have been no threats against or attacks on our territories. Our forces are present and prepared in their positions. As the YBŞ command, we are following this incident that happened outside of our control very closely. New information will be shared with the public as acquired.”
