The military campaign launched by Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) on Mosul- Telafer line continues. A number of ISIS members have been killed on Mosul road during the operation.

According to reports coming through, YBŞ fighters have taken control of the strategic Umecris and Medivan villages on Mosul-Telafer road. YBŞ forces have also taken control of the 47th road line leading to ISIS-occupied Mosul yesterday.

In a statement released yesterday, the General Command of Shengal Resistance Units said that they are participating in the operation with a force of 1600 combatants who are also cooperating with some other forces in some areas.

YBŞ underlined that they will not stop until the entire Kurdistan territory is liberated and all hostages held by ISIS are freed.
