YBŞ General Command issued a written statement on the clashes in Şilo highland and Mediba village. In its statement, YBŞ said that ISIS gangs in armored vehicles attacked the YBŞ/YJŞ positions in Şilo highland and Mediba village yesterday morning around 04:00. Intense clashes took place and the ISIS attacks were repelled around 13:00 yesterday, and many gangs escaped the area. YBŞ stated that 10 ISIS gangs were killed and 8 other were injured during yesterday’s clashes.

The General Command noted that its forces seized many guns and ammunition during yesterday’s clashes, which at times continue in the Martyr Dilgeş region.

Lastly, YBŞ noted that international coalition warplanes bombarded ISIS positions in the village of Şikeni twice, and the numbers of dead and injured gangs gave not yet been confirmed.
