YJA Star guerilla Berîvan Rizgar stated she focused more on the mortar and said, “This is my specialty. So I work on how to best use my gun, how I can participate more actively in this war. Because the process is intense and a good level of participation is expected from us.

We tolerated the intense oppression and the massacres on the Kurdish people until now. But from now on, all that has happened will be avenged, this is such a process. As the guerilla, we are preparing ourselves to participate in this war better this year to be an answer to the pain of our people.”

Another YJA Star member, Asmin Serhat said: “Me and comrade Berîvan are preparing more on the subject of heavy weapons. We have used these weapons before but we are concentrating on improving for better participation.

This year was an intense and arduous process, both for us and our people. The enemy has tried every kind of attack to annihilate our people and us. But after this point, an intense war awaits us. What they have done to the Kurdish people will of course have consequences. It is the time for revenge.

I am calling to the Kurdish people and our youth, it has come to such a point that the time for individual worries has passed. It is the day to resist. It is necessary to fight to protect our existence. So, I call on every person to resist.”
