YJA Star guerrilla Viyan Peyman noted that every year the Turkish state claims that it will end the guerrillas, but, every year it fails. "Whatever the Turkish state does, it will not succeed in defeating us."

Speaking to ANF, YJA Star guerrilla Viyan Peyman said that the Turkish state is trying to eliminate the guerrillas using chemical weapons in its attacks, and added: "The Turkish state uses different war weapons in its war against guerrillas. It even uses chemical and banned weapons, but the guerrillas know how to stand up with a greater will each time. This war is a war of wills, and the great resistance continues."

No success for the Turkish state

Guerrilla Peyman noted that the Turkish state did not attack alone, but could count on the international forces behind it. Peyman said: “The international forces remain silent against the crimes carried out by the Turkish state because they are its collaborators. No matter what the Turkish state does, it will not succeed from now on. But, as Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan] said, 'we will defend ourselves even if the whole world comes against us'. As Leader Apo's militants, we will never give up our struggle. This war will continue until the Kurdish people regain their freedom. We will fight for our Leader and our martyrs.”
