South Kurdistan youth gathered in front of Ranya University to join the Long March promoted by  the South Kurdistan Youth Initiative. The Long March will arrive in Zînî Wertê. Young people joined the march under the slogan 'We will beat the occupation with youth spirit'.

After reading a statement explaining the reasons for the march, the young people headed towards Zînî Wertê.

As activists walk towards the region of Serkebkan in Zînî Wertê, they are surrounded by a large number of public order members. The number of public security forces is also increasing by the hour. Young people are determined to continue the march.

Many artists, writers, intellectuals and women as well as more young people who want to join the march are prevented from doing so by security forces.
