Youth from Kirkuk joins the vigil in Qandil against invasion

Dozens of youth from Kirkuk have joined the human shield action in Qandil against invasion attacks of the Turkish state.

The Human Shield action launched against the Turkish invasion attacks in Qandil by the Southern Kurdistan youth -led by Patriotic Youth Movement and Young Women’s Movement- continues on day 19. The activists are receiving further support every day as they remain determined to continue their protest until they achieve a result.

Dozens of youth from Kirkuk have arrived in Qandil to stand up for South Kurdistan amid ongoing invasion attacks against four parts of Kurdistan.

Pointing out the increasing attacks against southern Kurdistan, the youth said; “The enemy should know that we will never allow them to occupy our lands.”

Stressing that the ancient lands of Kurdistan are not for sale, the young activists said; “We will not let these sacred lands to be sold once again like Kirkuk. We are ready to sacrifice our lives to this end.”

The activists called on the youth of Kurdistan to reclaim their lands with the human shield action in Qandil.
