YPG Press Office reported in a written statement that gang groups continued their attacks on Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo.
According to the YPG statement, which also reported ongoing attacks by Turkish military, gang groups attacked the village of Pino to the north of Aleppo with hell cannons and chlorine gas on May 1st.
The statement by YPG said that the attacks of NSC affiliated gang groups Sultan Murad Brigade, Ahrar Al-Sham, 16th Battalion, Al-Fetih Brigade, Sultan Mihemed Al Fetih Brigade, Al Mucahidin Army, Suwar Al-Sham, Ahrar Suruye, Jabhat Al Shamiye, Siqor Al Jabal, 101th Battalion, Foc Alewal, Jabhat Al-Turkmen, Ebû Emera Battalion, Al Islam Army, Festeqim Kema Emert Group, 13th Brigade, Al Shemaliye Battalion and Nûreddîn Zenkî Brigade continued their joint attacks on Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.
The YPG statement continued; "Gang groups attacked the village of Pino to the north of Aleppo with hell cannons and chlorine gas on May 1st. The gangs that simultaneously conducted attacks from Ashrafiya, Muselles and Seken Shebab areas were repelled by our forces.”
5 members of gang groups were killed and many others were wounded in clashes in these areas, while a military vehicle was destroyed in Ashrafiya region, said the statement. One YPG fighter fell fighting during the repulsion of the attacks by gangs.
In another development, ISIS gangs deployed in southern Jarablus carried out attacks on Şêxler town and the surroundings of Qereqozax village between 10.00 and 11.00 yesterday morning. The town of Şêxler was hit by another aggression with heavy weaponry between 22.00 and 23.00 last night.
ISIS gangs also conducted 3 separate attacks with heavy weaponry targeting the southwest, west and east of the Tishrin Dam in Kobanê between 09.00-11.00, 17.00-19.00 and 23.30-24.00 throughout yesterday.
YPG continued, reporting ongoing attacks of Turkish military along the border line with Rojava, West Kurdistan. Within this scope, Turkish troops shelled the village of Ziyaret to the west of Kobanê at random yesterday. Turkish soldiers also opened fire on civilians working in their fields in the village of Aşmê to the west of Kobanê.
