YPG: One YPG fighter killed, another wounded by Turkish army

YPG Press Office reported that Turkish army attacks on Rojava lands killed one YPG fighter and wounded another yesterday evening.

YPG Press Office reported in a written statement that Turkish army continued its attacks on the lands of Rojava-Northern Syria Federation.

According to the statement, Turkish forces launched an attack with heavy weapons targeting the Koran, Kaniya Kurdan and Çariqlî villages to the east of Kobanê and the Korelî village to the west of Kobanê during the evening hours of September 6.

Turkish army also attacked a YPG vehicle near Eyndiwer village of Dêrîk at 22:00 yesterday evening, which left two YPG fighters wounded. One of the YPG combatants died later despite all the medical efforts.

On the other hand, ISIS gangs attempted to attack the Til Osman village to the east of the Tishreen Dam in Kobanê at the night of September 6. YPG fighters noticed and intervened the gangs who were therewith forced to flee from the area.

At September 6 night, YPG combatants captured two persons who attempted to infiltrate into YPG-held area through the Jarablus bridge. The interrogation of both persons continues.
