YPG Media Center announced that the Turkish army continues to attack Rojava. YPG stated that Turkish soldiers attacked the village of Ziyaret to the west of Kobanê on the night of June 8 with heavy weaponry. YPG noted that soldiers burned the fields in this village and set off the mines here, which caused panic among the villagers.

The Media Center of YPG stated that ISIS gangs carried out a series of attacks on the town of Şêxler to the southwest of Kobanê from their positions to the south of Jarablus throughout June 8. The gangs also tried to infiltrate the town but were forced to retret after the resistance of YPG/YPJ fighters.
