YPG: Turkish army continues its attacks on Rojava

YPG Media Center stated that the attacks of SNC affiliated gang groups Sultan Murad Brigade, Ahrar Al-Sham, 16th Battalion, Al-Fetih Brigade, Sultan Mihemed Al Fetih Brigade, Al Mucahidin Army, Suwar Al-Sham, Ahrar Suruye, Jabhat Al Shamiye, Siqor Al Jabal, 101th Battalion, Foc Alewal, Jabhat Al-Turkmen, Ebû Emera Battalion, Al Islam Army, Festeqim Kema Emert Group, 13th Brigade, Al Shamaliye Battalion and Nûreddîn Zenkî Brigade on Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood continue.
YPG said that gang groups shelled Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood at 01:00 on the night of June 20. YPG forces identified the location of the gangs and carried out an operation in the Seken Shikeyf and Muhaberat avenue regions. Violent clashes took place during the operation, as a result of which 2 gang members were killed in Seken Shikeyf and one other was killed near Muhaberat avenue.
YPG announced that the Turkish army continues its attacks on Rojava and shelled the YPG positions near Ziyaret village on June 19. Turkish soldiers also shot fires on civilians near the village of Kelim on the same day.
Lastly, YPG stated that ISIS gangs attacked the town of Şêxler to the southeast of Kobanê with heavy weaponry from their positions in South Jarablus on June 19.
