YPG/YPJ fighters liberate an Êzîdî family from ISIS in Raqqa

Combatants of the YPG /YPJ (People's / Women's Defense Units) liberated an Êzîdî family from ISIS gangs in Raqqa city center.

According to a report by ANHA, a special unit affiliated with the YPG /YPJ forces conducted a secret operation in the center of the Raqqa city which serves as the main stronghold of the ISIS gangs.

As a result of the accomplished operation, regarding which no detail was disclosed, the YPG/YPJ unit saved an Êzîdî family that had been kidnapped by the ISIS gangs from Shengal.

A woman and her three children were enabled safe access to Kobanê and handed over to asayish (public security) forces.

The rescued family members are reported to be in good state of health.
