YPS (Civilian Defense Units) Press Center issued a written statement and said the following:

“A person by the name of Kürşat Turaç turned out to be an ISIS member following investigations by our YPS units. Turaç, originally from Elazığ and operating in Hakkari, was punished by our units Saturday evening.”
