YPS (Civilian Defense Unit) General Coordination shared the following details on an action carried out by their fighters against the police station of Amed's Yenişehir district:

"A YPS unit carried out an action against the police station in Yenişehir district of Amed at 22.45 on July 26. Our forces conducted the action with hand grenades against 8 policemen stationed in the yard of the police station, and continued to hit the policemen with close range weapons effectively. After the action which left 6 policemen injured, the YPS unit turned back to their base safely."
