In a statement on Monday, YPS JIN Martyr Hêvî Tolhildan Retaliation Team said: “The base station located on 2245th Street in the Xaçort neighbourhood of the İpekyolu district of Van was destroyed using special tactics around 03:40 on December 11.”

The written statement continued: “Our forces have destroyed the base station in response to the attacks of the colonial Turkish state on our revolutionary areas, inflicting damage of at least 25 thousand dollars. No matter how much the enemy escalates its attacks, we will increase our legitimate defence power and our historical responsibilities. We have the power, and enemy forces, especially collaborator traitors, will realize it very well. Our determination to take revenge will be better understood by our retaliatory actions. We call on all our patriotic people to embrace guerrillas and their honourable sons/daughters, and to remove the traitors from the holy lands.”
