YRK announces that people's vineyards and gardens were damaged in Turkey's attacks

The YRK announced that the vineyards and gardens of the people were damaged in the attack by the invading Turkish state warplanes on the slopes of Mount Kurîsê on 22 April.

East Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK) Press and Liaison Center said the following in a written statement regarding the attack on Mount Asos on 22 April: “There was a movement of invading forces with reconnaissance planes in the Asos mountains region on April 21-22. At noon on 22 April, the invading Turkish state launched an attack on the slopes of Mount Kurîsê with warplanes. Our forces were not harmed in the bombardments, but the vineyards and gardens of the people were damaged.”

The statement added that the “Turkish state is being defeated against the guerrilla resistance in the areas of Zap, Metina and Avaşin. It continues to carry out attacks against Rojava, Shengal and Eastern Kurdistan.”
