YRK announces the death of two guerrillas

YRK guerrillas Kemal Hewramî and Têkoşer Çilçeme were killed in an attack in the Mukuryan city of East Kurdistan on 11 January.

The East Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK) announced the death of two guerrillas in Mukuryan in January.

According to the YRK statement released on Friday, guerrillas Kemal Hewramî and Têkoşer were attacked while travelling in a car on 11 January. “Behind the attack is a group of collaborators who betray their own people", stated the YRK.

"Due to the difficult winter conditions, information has reached us late, therefore the announcement of the martyrdom of our companions is delayed. For this we apologise to the families of the martyrs and to our people. The death of our comrades makes us, the guerrillas of East Kurdistan, very sad. Our hatred and anger towards the traitors and the occupying regime is great. On this basis, we renew our promise to the martyrs: We will continue our struggle without interruption until we achieve their goals."
