The Defence Forces of Eastern Kurdistan (YRK) Command released a statement providing information about the ongoing attacks by the Turkish state on their areas.

The statement released on Thursday said: “The fascist, invading Turkish state has escalated its attacks on the areas of our forces with the purpose of spreading propaganda in the run-up to the elections to be held in Turkey and North Kurdistan on May 14.”

According to the statement, the latest wave of attacks by the Turkish army targeted the vineyards and orchards of the local people in the vicinity of the Gelale village in Asos region on April 26 and May 2.

YRK stated that the attacks by Turkish armed drones did not cause a loss in their ranks but damage to the vineyards, orchards, fields and bee hives of the local people.
