Zarok TV restarts broadcast
Kurdish children's channel Zarok TV, one of the media outlets and TV-radio stations recently shut down by the Turkish government, has restarted its broadcast after around two months of suspension.
Zarok TV, Turkey's first channel for children broadcasting in Kurdish, based in Amed, was shut down with a decree on September 28th.
The TV channel announced on its Twitter account today that they have restarted the broadcast.
Cancellation of the TV's licence was retreated upon reactions against the closure of the Kurdish children's TV.
Zarok TV stated that they will resume broadcast over the same frequency as of 15:30 today.
