  Mokhtar Asadi, who is a well-known member of the Kurdistan Teachers’ Union and holds a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Tehran, has been arrested several times over the years for his activism.
• More village guards hand over their weapons refusing to fight in South Kurdistan 

  More and more village guards in North Kurdistan are handing over their weapons because they are against being used as the vanguard in the Turkish military operation against the PKK in North Iraq.
• Fire on Mount Shengal brought under control early this morning 

  A fire broke out on Mount Shengal for an unknown reason. The Shengal Autonomous Administration and security forces mobilized to bring it under control.

  The Martyr Doğan Zinar Unit carried out aerial actions in the memory of martyrs. As a result of the actions, 8 soldiers were killed, 11 were wounded, 1 air defence system and 6 positions were damaged.

  The Turkish state continues its military deployment to South Kurdistan together with the KDP. Dozens of vehicles were dispatched to Amêdiyê on Sunday night.
• HPG pays tribute to commander Alan Milazgîr and guerrilla doctor Sara Tolhildan 

  HPG commander Alan Milazgîr had been with the PKK since 1994, and guerrilla doctor Sara Tolhildan went to the mountains in 2014. They were killed in a selfless offensive strike against the Turkish occupation forces in the Zap region.
