10 day balance sheet of battle in Raqqa operation
4 neighborhoods and several locations were liberated, 312 ISIS members were killed and 7 others captured alive in Raqqa between 6th and 15th of June.
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) General Command released the balance sheet of the Operation Liberate Raqqa for 10 days.
According to the balance sheet, SDF forces liberated 4 neighborhoods (al-Mashlab, Sabahiya, Romani and Sinaa), Sihel village 7 km southwest of the city, historic Tal Harkalah Fortress, Sugar Factory, al-Jazra Square and 17th Division Barracks since the launch of the operation on June 6th. As many as 312 ISIS members were killed, bodies of 39 remained in SDF possession and 7 others were captured alive.
SDF fighters also destroyed 8 motorcycles, 5 military vehicles, 5 bomb-laden vehicles, 1 mortar, 1 howitzer, 3 boats and one arms manufacturing workshop, and downed 4 drones of the gangs.
According to the statement, SDF forces seized the following arms and ammunition from ISIS:
14 Kalashnikovs, 8 BKC, 3 RPG (B-7) and 16 missiles, 16 RPG rocket propellers, 8 hand grenades, 20 120mm mortar missiles, one M72 LAW of the Turkish army, a bomb-laden vehicle, 3 ammunition vests, 2 laptops, 7 Hytera radios, 3 Yaesu radios, 30 Katyusha missiles.
