A 115-year-old woman left her sickbed to cast her vote for the HDP in Kızıltepe district of Mardin, saying that she voted for peace and freedom.

ANF reporters came across a woman of 115 years old, named Hacı Şamê Aydemir, while covering the voting in Kızıltepe district of Mardin.

The old woman standing on foot with a walking stick and her grandchild helping her said: “For so many years have I witnessed the suffering in these lands. The suffering should now end and peace should prevail in the lands. I left my sickbed to vote for the HDP in order for peace and freedom to prevail.”
