People's Defence Forces Press Centre (HPG-BIM) has reported in a written statement that HPG guerrillas and Sinjar Resistance Units (YBŞ) ambushed a convoy of ISIS gangs on Sinjar road at 05:30 today.

The statement said 12 gang members were killed and 6 others wounded in the attack carried out with heavy weapons.

HPG-BIM said guerrilla forces also carried out a heavy weapon attack against ISIS gangs in the Etçane village of Kirkuk yesterday, adding that the number of casualties left by the action couldn't be ascertained.
