12 ISIS members killed near Suwar town northeast of Deir ez-Zor

12 ISIS members were killed in clashes with Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters near Suwar town, northeast of Deir ez-Zor in Syria.

On the 23rd day of the Operation Cizire Storm, SDF fighters launched an offensive on three hamlets south of Suwar town last night. After intense clashes with ISIS gangs that continued into the morning, SDF liberated the three hamlets where 6 ISIS members were killed and their bodies were seized, in addition to some ISIS ammunition.

4 other ISIS members were killed in Cuweyif village south of Suwar. SDF fighters continue their advance south of Suwar, Mergede and Industrial Zone flanks.

Another 2 ISIS members were killed during clashes south of Cefir.

In the meantime, efforts to clear the mines in the industrial zone flank have been finalized.

SYRIAN REGIME KILLED 12 CIVILIANS

In a separate development Syrian warplanes killed 12 civilians in Abu Kemal town near Deir ez-Zor.

According to local sources Syrian warplanes bombed Abu Kamal town Monday morning. 12 civilians were killed and several wounded in the attack.

Mayadin town was also bombed by warplanes but there were no details about the result of the bombing.
