As part of the AKP/Palace regime's ongoing operations of political genocide, 5 people have been taken into custody in Adana and 8 in Manisa where 3 other people were formally arrested.

ADANA

Police forces raided a number of houses in the southern province of Adana early Friday morning.

Five people including Hacı Bektashi Veli Cultural Association Branch Chair Kemal Çelik have been taken into custody.

The detainees were taken to Çukurova Gendarmerie Command due to lack of place in the provincial police directorate.

MANİSA

In the western province of Manisa, 8 people were taken into custody on the grounds of their social media posts. The detainees were taken to provincial police directorate.

On the other hand, 3 people recently detained in Manisa's Salihli district have been referred to court after giving their statements at the police directorate.

The three people were formally arrested for "aiding and abetting a terrorist organization" and "membership to a terrorist organization".
