15 people remanded in custody in Van
15 people were remanded in Van as part of the political genocide operation launched by the government against Kurds.
Following the police operations launched on 11 and 12 October, which led to the detention of 40 people in Van, Istanbul, Sakarya, Bursa, Çanakkale and Antalya, on Saturday 15 people in Van have been remanded in custody.
They are all charged with "being a member of an illegal organization".
Among the 15 people remanded in custody in Van are also 3 muhtar.
